Talking to families

Ask about the person, not the stone

Most families do not know granite colors or memorial types, and they should not have to. They do know the person.

Ask what they loved: their work, their faith, a place, a hobby, a phrase they always used. Note it under symbols and personal interests so our designer can send back a proof the family recognizes.

Before settling on a memorial type, check the cemetery's rules and confirm the lot map location. We need both before we set anything.

What our designer needs for a first proof:

Cemetery · Section and lot · Terrain · Graves on the lot · Existing memorials on the lot · Individual, companion or family memorial · Color preference · Symbols and personal interests
